Fiona Paxton

Fiona Paxton studied textile design at the Royal College of Art in London and spent the next 15 years working in New York and London designing prints and embroideries for various fashion houses including Chloe, Armani and Moschino. Fiona became inspired by the artisan techniques of the craftsmen of India and decided to develop her own range of jewelry pieces that are all hand done using these techniques. The collection launched in 2008: each piece is a beautifully patterned mosaic of glistening strands of silver and gold colored chains and beads. Intricate beadwork creates fluid necklaces that drape flat to the body languid and snake like. Living and working in East London provided Paxton with inspiration from all spheres of life - street imagery, popular music, a burgeoning art scene and decoration from unique vintage finds.
